TAPS & DEBURRS
IN ONE OPERATION
• Deburrs the top of the tapped hole while the tap is
being withdrawn from the workpiece.
• No reversal cut in the chamber due to tool cutting
only in reverse.
• Creates a chamfer for easy screw insertion; leaves
no burr to clog the tapped hole.
• Used on N/C machining centers and transfer
machines, saves a complete station and a cycle.
• Absence of burr eliminates rocking between mat-
ing surfaces.
• Deburrs to consistent depth even though wotking
pieces vary in thickness.
• No additional power required.
• Easy to install; simply slips over your tap.
• Resharpenable with simple radial relief grinding

•Arco Needle-Eye Laps are unequaled for lapping
small holes. Each of the 17 sizes, from .032” to
.250”, expand to the next larger size to accurately
lap the complete range or sizes.
• Using Lap Expander or the new, exclusive Acro lap
Adjusting Tool, any degree of expansion is obtained
with a flexibility that prevents seizing.
For High Speed
Lapping/Polishing/Deburring
•Arco laps insure fast, accurate lapping of long or
short holes, 3/16” to 1” diameters. Instantly, accu-
rately adjustable. Milled eccentric slots in brass
barrel permit expansion of up to 15% or more by
simply turning adjusting screw. No set-up time. No
special equipment needed.
• Replacement parts, arbors, brass barrels and ad-
justing screws are available from stock.
