Coatings are a series of thermoplastics formulated to fit a wide
variety of protective coating needs. Application is easy. Immerse
the part into the molten plastic for a few seconds and withdraw;
solidifies within one minute. Coating protects items from rust
and cushions items during handling, storage and shipping.
The protective coating peels off easily and can be re-melted and
reused many times.
Hot Melt Protective Strippable Coatings
Type II Coating
• Based on cellulose acetate butyrate.
• Excellent pot life.
• Little odor.
• Applications include tool protection, masking for
electroplating and sealing the ends of electric cables.
• Fastest set up time and more durable than other
types of coatings.
•
Grade C:
Low cost, little oil exudation. The most transparent
of all types of coatings. Low operating temperature and very
little fumes.
