Types 27 & 29
• For use on stainless steel and other tough alloys. Made with
premium zirconia or ceramic grains, and are designed to stay
cool while providing rapid cut rate and extended life.
• High performance zirconia/aluminum oxide blend
on heat treated polyester backing.
• Active grinding aid allows for aggressive grinding
with only light pressure.
• Excels in heat sensitive applications by minimizing heat generation.

Types 27 & 29
These extra thick flap discs are made with
49-60% more abrasive material (on average)
and last 30-40% longer than general purpose
flap discs.
The added flaps allow for increased comformability.
• Provides good overall performance on a wide
variety of applications and finishes.
Coating Advantages: Zirconia Alumina
• A sharp, long-lasting material that works well
on a wide variety of heavy grinding operations.
• High strength for tough jobs.
• Performs well on hard materials, such
as stainless steel, Inconel and cobalt.
Type 27 -
Less aggressive, flat design used primarily
on flat surfaces. Best for smooth finishes.
Type 29 -
Most aggressive angled flaps for use
on both conical and flat surfaces.
