High Performance Stylus
for CMM Touch Trigger Probes
• What is a stylus? The stylus mounts directly
into a probe and is that part of the measuring
system that makes contact with the component.
• This produces a trigger signal in the probe.
• The size and type of the stylus
is determined by the application.
• Threads are M2 (2 mm).

Quick Change From One Module to Another Without Re-Qualifying the CMM
• Module is held in place with a magnet and Accurately located by kinematic seat.
• Select the correct force module for the styli length and weight.
• TP20 is a 5-way or 6-way kinematic touch trigger probe.
• TP20 has a 2 piece design comprised of a probe body and detachable stylus module(s) which gives the ability
to change stylus configurations either manually or automatically without re-qualification of the stylus tips.
