Bars – R.H. and L.H.
Aloris ATB series threading bars can be
used for internal right or left-hand thread-
ing. These bars accommodate standard
triangular-shaped throwaway threading in-
serts in a hardened seat. A carbide hold-
ing screw is supplied
The ATB series shank has three flat sides
specially designed for use in Aloris boring
bar holders No. 1, o. 2, No. 13 and No. 41.
Adjustable Threading Holder
For Right & Left-Hand Threading
The new Aloris Series 88 adjustable thread-
ing holder for right and left-hand threading
is designed for use with the new Aloris
AT1H, AT1V or AT2V dual insert threading
holders with two carbide cutting tips.
The key characteristic of the Series 88
holder is its adjustability feature which
allows easy setting of the thread helix angle
10% to the left or right by means of two set
screws, a direct-reading scale and built-in
locking feature.
AT1H, AT1V and AT2V, can be positioned
on the lower mounting surface for normal
threading, or on the upper surface of the
holder (with spindle direction reversed) for
reverse threading without fear of shoulder
damage.
80° Diamond Shape Carbide
Insert Tool Holders
For Turning and Facing
Aloris series D80 and D80L dovetail hold-
ers accommodate all varieties of stan-
dard 80° diamond shaped carbide in-
serts, positive, negative or neutral rake
and either left or right lead angle. Inserts
are not supplied.
They are designed for use with Aloris
quick change toolposts and allow turn-
ing and facing operations without re-
moving the holder from the toolpost.
Repeat positioning accuracy within mil-
lionths is assured when used with Aloris
toolposts.

der heavy duty conditions and cool chat-
ter-free operations at higher speeds.
Two different blades can be used with
this holder; self-locking throwaway in-
sert blade, or reversible blade with brazed-
in carbide tips.
Adjustment of the blade position is simple,
the locking is accomplished by one screw
instead of the usual umber of adjusting
and clamping screws.
